Good quality bread, sliced an inch thick
Little Kitchen Gourmet Habanero Gold Jelly
Softened butter or margarine
Optional: baby arugula
Heat a tsp of butter or margarine in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice buttered-side-down in the hot pan. Cover with sliced cheese and a layer of arugula, if desired. (Try it! It’s really nice!) Spread the LKG Habanero Gold jelly on the unbuttered side of second slice of bread. Place it, jelly side down, on the sandwich. Press down with a spatula and cook until one side is brown, then flip and repeat. Cook until the second side is crispy and brown and the cheese starts to melt.
Serve with a salad and soup for a quick and sophisticated supper.
